The transition to clean energy is going to require significant investments and deployment of infrastructure equipment – power lines, transformers, and other constructed materials – that will create jobs, and allow renewable and other clean energy resources to connect to the grid. However, it will also result in development and construction that will impact communities, affect landscapes, require complex siting and permitting, and lead to challenging decisions.

Tackling these issues, NECEC is joined by:

- Elin Swanson Katz, Director, Office of Public Participation, FERC

- Mireille Bejjani, Co-Executive Director, Slingshot

- Bernardo Escudero, Sr Director of Business Development, Avangrid

- Julieta Giraldez, Principal of Customer Solutions, Kevala- Staci Rubin, VP, Environmental Justice, Conservation Law Foundation
