NECEC (The Northeast Clean Energy Council and NECEC Institute) tonight announced its Eighth Annual “Green Tie Gala” awards, honoring E2Tech, Cambrian Innovation and Nexamp for their leadership and contributions to the region’s leading clean energy economy.
“Tonight’s awardees exemplify the innovative business models, leading technologies, and significant deployment of clean energy in our region, as well as the strong ecosystem available to support cleantech entrepreneurs” said Peter Rothstein, NECEC President. “Clean energy is at a tipping point and the companies honored and in attendance at the Green Tie Gala are proof that this industry is making significant contributions to the region’s economy, energy system and environment.”
2015 Green Tie Gala Company Award Winners & Finalists:
NECEC’s 8th Annual Green Tie Gala was held at the Hyatt Regency Cambridge and attracted nearly 400 business leaders and stakeholders in the clean energy industry, including company CEOs, government officials, service providers, academics, venture investment firms, labor and large commercial end-users and area utilities. The event included a fireside chat on the future of renewable energy and electricity system innovation with Green Mountain Power CEO and President Mary Powell and US DOE Assistant Secretary for Energy Efficiency and Renewable Energy David Danielson, moderated by Boston Business Journal Executive Editor Doug Banks.
